
New Ways to Make Protein
A recent publication by James Bosco (PhD'25, Biochemistry and Biophysics) describing a new approach to effectively produce proteins in the lab has been featured in a news update from Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology. This recognizes the impact of this new technology developed at UM and currently licensed to James' company Arktos Life Sciences.

Rural Institute Informs
Drs. McKenzie Javorka, Elizabeth Sabbath, and Kaitlin Fertaly of UM's Rural Institute recently released a research report on the intersections of homelessness and justice involvement in Missoula County. This community needs assessment was conducted in partnership with the local housing organization Homeword, Inc. as part of their MacArthur Foundation-funded Just Home project. The research findings have been featured in local media, including an article from the Missoulian and The Pulp.
