Classroom furniture
ODE and Facilities Services work together to provide alternative classroom furniture to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ whose standard chairs and desks are inaccessible due to physical disability. Examples of alternative furniture include:
- Adjustable and padded chairs
- Separate tables
- Stand-up desks
Requesting alternative furniture
Students approved for alternative furniture accommodations should contact their access consultant with the following details:
- Type and quantity of furniture needed (e.g., 1 padded chair, 1 table)
- Classroom location(s) (e.g., Social Science Building, Room 352)
- Day(s) and time(s) of the class
- Preferred furniture placement within the room (e.g., front of the classroom)
