In addition to a wide array of hands-on courses, undergraduate Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ in the Wildlife Biology Program have access to many research opportunities at UM to help prepare them for careers in wildlife biology and natural resources management.
Undergraduate Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ can use the undergraduate research interest form (.pdf) to help discover the kinds of work they're interested in, to reach out to labs about potential research opportunities, and to specify their availability.
Representatives from the Wildlife Biology Graduate Student Association recommend reaching out to graduate Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ or professors via email to inquire about research opportunities. In the email, you should introduce yourself and your interests, outline any relevant experience or attach a resume if applicable. You should also include the undergraduate research interest form as an attachment or include the information on the form in the body of your email.
