Personal Summary
Born and raised in Kalispell, MT, Erin Hoch has a diverse background in childcare, education, and family advocacy. Her professional journey includes roles in childcare facilities, preschools, after-school programs, as a PCA, office work, cleaning, substitute teaching, and serving as an AMCHP Family Representative.
In her free time, Erin volunteers with Intermountain Therapy Animals alongside her dog, Kylo. She also enjoys reading, family adventures, teaching, working on the Miracle League Board, playing board games, and mastering Donkey Kong.
Her passion for this job stems from personal experiences advocating for her son, Jaxen, who has Infantile Pompe Disease. Navigating his complex needs has inspired Erin to help other families find a clearer path and reduce their stress.
Jaxen, a spirited 10-year-old, brings joy and challenges to her life. She homeschools amidst his numerous appointments and cherishes watching him ski, bike, and play sports with DREAM Adaptive and the Miracle League. Recently, he's embarked on a mission to join a skateboarding group, and she supports him every step of the way.
Erin and her husband have been together for over a decade, celebrating their 4th anniversary in April. She loves integrating her passion for nature and the outdoors into Jaxen's life. Her family includes three dogs—Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, and Luna—and a tuxedo cat named V. She believes in living life to the fullest, experiencing and sharing it, and finding her own way to do what other families do.
