ADA 35 celebration

10 July 2025
Celebrating 35 Years of the Americans with Disabilities Act

On July 26, 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law, laying the foundation for a more inclusive society by prohibiting discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life. The ADA was born from decades of advocacy led by disabled people demanding recognition, voice, and justice.

Join the event celebrating 35 years of the ADA — honoring the progress the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ has made and recommitting to a future where access leads the way. On July 25, UM will kick off a year of learning with a small celebration.
